Maze Wines is a father and son enterprise started by Gerry McSharry, a media entrepreneur who built a career in Ireland and England, and his son Paul. They hired winemaker Mark Herold, a co-founder of Merus, as wine making consultant. Maze makes Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The wines have earned ratings in the mid-90s.
