Francois Tissot spent 15 years as a winemaker before pursuing his dream to produce his own wine. His dream came to fruition in 2013 upon locating an old farmhouse with five hectares of terraced vineyards in the Ardeche in Southern France. Spread out over 30 different terraces, the vineyard was named May Heritage. Today Francois Tissot wine is made from May Heritage and is farmed organically.
