Domaine Chauvenet-Chopin had its beginnings in 1985 when Evelyne Chopin married Hubert Chauvenet. Both came from families with vineyards, and they worked their parents’ domaine’s for years, finally consolidating the two family domaines in 2001 to create Domaine Chauvenet-Chopin. The 36-acre estate includes Grand and Premier Cru parcels. Besides Pinot Noir, the estate makes a Chardonnay and Aligoté, both villages. Their wines are known for their classic, delicate style.
