Château Marjosse

Château Marjosse is in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, and it was established in 1990 by Pierre Lurton, managing director and winemaker at Cheval-Blanc and President and CEO of Château d'Yquem. He is also a much-in-demand consulting winemaker for LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton and others. Lurton started Château Marjosse with just 30 acres making classically-styled wine in a simple building that was more garage than château. After Lurton acquired nearly 90 more acres he built a modern winery, where he now makes 200,000 bottles annually of his flagship Chateau Marjosse red and 50,000 bottles of his white Entre-Deux-Mers.
