Jean Boillot & Fils is a 30-acre domaine in Volnay. It is run by Henri Boillot, son of Jean and brother of Jean-Marc of Pommard. The estate is almost entirely Premier Crus. The Premier Cru parcels are in Volnay, Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, which includes the monopole Clos de la Mouchere. Clive Coates calls it an “impressive estate…the results are fine.”

Clos de la Mouchere is a 10-acre Premier Cru monopole within the 21-acre Premier Cru Les Perrieres, in Puligny-Montrachet, in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. Clos de la Mouchere belongs to Domaine Jean Boillot of Volnay. Les Perrieres is between Les Combettes, Les Referts and Le Clavoillon.
