Almost delicate, but also full-bodied, rich and ripe, with attractive rose petal, plum, black cherry and currant character. So ripe, it's almost hot on the finish, but still a lovely, velvety wine.
Gorgeous, sexy, opulently perfumed fruit followed by medium weight, intense, backward, beautifully textured flavors underpinned by solid but ripe tannins and the same floral note that many of these '95s display. This is really quite lovely.
The aromatics of this wine are enthralling. Its medium-bodied character is richer than I remembered.
Higher-pitched spice and earth nose, complicated by exotic smoky-oak tones. Riper and silkier in the mouth, but given shape and firmness by a mineral underpinning.
