Very ripe, but pure and juicy, with gorgeous raspberry and boysenberry flavors that race alongside licorice, graphite and dark tea notes. The long, silky finish has plenty of heft, but stays elegant.
Energetic aromas of black raspberry, cherry, rose and spicecake, with a hint of musky herbs. Weighty red and dark berry compote flavors are lifted by tangy minerality and complemented by candied flowers and anise.
This wine exhibits tremendous spice box, sweet black cherries, a resiny pine forest note, and abundant pepper.
Dark, blackish healthy crimson. Concentrated, rather dry, clarety style, then hugely impressive with wonderful tannin management and grace. A hint of black cherries and lovely texture. Very complete.
