92-94The Wine Advocate

...notions of sweet red berries, orange rind and wilted rose petal, it's medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and mineral, with superb depth and a long, penetrating finish.

92-94Vinous / IWC

...wonderful, transparent, disarmingly pure bouquet of perfumed crushed strawberry and cranberry aromas laced with rose petals...palate is silky smooth on the entry, with touches of kirsch infusing the red fruit, and later blood orange and quince, leading to quite a precocious finish.

17.5Jancis Robinson

Lovely combination of fruit ripeness and freshness... Effortless concentration with extreme finesse in the compact but super-fine tannins. Both ethereal and deep. Perfect harmony of fruit and structure and great length. More savoury on the palate with just a hint of spice on the finish.

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Beaune, Les Greves

Les Greves is a 75-acre Premier Cru vineyard in the central part of the Beaune appellation, in Burgundy's Cote de Beaune. Though Beaune has no Grand Cru vineyards, it has 44 vineyards that are either partly or completely Premier Cru. Clive Coates has written that in the central section of the Beaune appellation is “where you will find the finest examples of premier cru in Beaune.”

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, 1er (Premier) Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
