93Vinous / IWC

It has a delightful, complex bouquet with scents of lime flower, crushed stone and light white peach aromas neatly enmeshed with the oak. The precise palate is beautifully balanced, with a fine thread of acidity and an expressive, mineral-driven finish.

92-94The Wine Advocate

...excellent, unwinding in the glass with a classy bouquet of beeswax, crisp orchard fruit, pastry cream, citrus oil and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a fleshier, broader-shouldered profile...pure and incisive, concluding with a long, focused finish.

...pear, apple, rose petal, spice and matchstick-suffused nose. The finer and more focused medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely minerality that adds a bit of lift to the clean, sour-sweet and lingering finale that is better balanced as well.

17Jancis Robinson

...with a greater intensity. Juicy and structured at the same time. Deep but fresh with a long minerally finish...

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet, Le Cailleret

Le Cailleret is a 7.8-acre Premier Cru vineyard in the appellation of Puligny-Montrachet, in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. Le Cailleret is just above the Grand Cru Le Montrachet. Burgundy writer Clive Coates notes that at its best, Le Cailleret and its diminutive neighbor Les Demoiselles “make exquisite wines: not as powerful as Le Montrachet itself, but of pure breed, excellent grip and beautiful balance.”

White Wine, Chardonnay, 1er (Premier) Cru

This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
