RATINGS

93The Wine Advocate

..masses of super-ripe, opulent fruit. This head spinning, viscerally thrilling wine possesses striking inner perfume and tons of richness in a full-throttle style that is highly expressive..ripeness and classicism are beautifully balanced.

93Wine Spectator

Delightfully rich and fruity, with ripe, dense layers of blueberry, wild berry and strawberry flavors. Full-bodied and chewy with tannins and notes of crushed rock...in a complex, elegant style. Best from 2012 through 2021. 125 cases made.

92Stephen Tanzer

..Blackberry, blueberry, loam and smoky minerality on the nose..Lush on entry, then firm in the middle..a light touch to the scented flavors of dark berries and minerals. Finishes broad and smooth..restrained sweetness and suave tannins...

Grapes from any Beckstoffer vineyards are considered among the finest available in California.
