There is good richness and a subtle minerality to the well-detailed and attractively vibrant flavors that possess good length and a lovely sense of harmony.

REGION

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Saint Aubin, Les Murgers des Dents de Chien

Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is a 39.5-acre Premier Cru vineyard in the Saint-Aubin appellation, in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. Saint-Aubin has no Grand Crus, but there are 29 Premier Crus planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is on the eastern edge of the appellation and borders Puligny-Montrachet. Wine writers note that although the appellation of Saint-Aubin was in the past typically not given much attention by wine collectors, in recent decades it has been increasingly noted for the high quality of its wines.

TYPE

White Wine, Chardonnay, 1er (Premier) Cru

This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
