...scented of quince and peach with touches of toast, matchstick and crushed almonds. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and expansive with concentrated, toasty fruit, refreshing acidity and a long, flavorful finish. This is wonderfully inviting to drink and impressive quality for a "basic" appellation cuvée.
Appealingly rich, with buttery nuances to the apricot, lemon curd and toasted sesame flavors, showing restraint and freshness on the sleek frame.
...very pretty and complex... Apricot, chamomile, dried flowers, mint, hazelnut and honey are nicely pushed forward. This deceptively mid-weight Chardonnay packs a pretty good punch.
