Estimate
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and expansive, with a broad, fleshy attack; a deep, concentrated core balanced by succulent acids; and extraordinary length and purity. It's an Echezeaux outside of the ordinary.
A very ripe and ultra-spicy nose reflects liqueur-like aromas of dark cherry, plum and raspberry that are once again trimmed in subtle but not invisible oak.
Offers incredible concentration to its flavors of blackberry syrup and savory minerality, conveying an almost liqueur-like ripeness for a dry wine. Painfully intense in the early going but the big tannins are buffered by the wine's impression of extract.
