Attractive mulberry and ripe red plums with a core of gently grainy tannins in an almost chalky mode. Juicy and bold finish.

A big nose of fresh raspberries and blackberries along with cigar wrapper, gravel and cedar. Medium full, palate of red berries and heavy mineral tones Pair With: Korean Short Ribs, Steak Frites, Shepard’s Pie, and Ground Beef Tacos.

Lussac-Saint-Émilion is northeast of Saint-Émilion, and it takes its name from the town of Lussac. It is considered a satellite appellation of Saint-Émilion, and it is one of several appellations allowed to attach the prestigious Saint-Émilion name to their own. Like most Right Bank estates, it grows and vinifies primarily Merlot.
