RATINGS

89-91The Wine Advocate

...well defined with chalky/flinty notes...crisp on the entry, quite spicy and vibrant with racy acidity... Fine.

Here there is only a whisper of reduction and much more easily allows the softly exotic white orchard fruit, spice and white floral notes to be evaluated. The textured, rich and very rounded flavors possess slightly better zip on the moderately dry and persistent finish.

Very cool and bright on the nose... Crystalline and full of pzazz and appeal. Bone dry and lemony. Very appetising... Impressive length.

The elevation is 300 to 380 meters.

TYPE

White Wine, Chardonnay, 1er (Premier) Cru

This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
