Dark, dense and remarkably supple, with gorgeous plum, peach and cherry flavor graced with hints of mint and spice, rounded out with delicious oak. Comes off like a Bordeaux with Rhône flavors, very seductive.
This grape is grown in milder climates and produces a medium-to full-bodied wine. It is also known as Shiraz, but should not be confused with Petit Sirah, which was developed by crossing Syrah with Peloursin.
