Estimate
..a classic Rutherford Bench wine with exceptional concentration as well as depth. Brambleberry, cassis, black cherry, spice box, and cedar..superb, full-bodied flavors...polished, refined tannins, and a finish that lasts nearly 45 seconds.
An amazingly rich, complex and ageworthy wine...firm, plush flavors of blackberries and black currants...very tannic, giving a dry astringency through the finish. Should reward time in the cellar. Best 2012–2018.
...Brooding aromas of plum, mocha and chocolatey oak. Plump and sweet...chocolate and cedary oak elements give it a slightly chunky texture. Finishes with chocolatey, youthfully clenched tannins..will need a couple years to come into focus.
