Estimate
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and reserved, with a layered, multidimensional core, tangy acids and velvety tannins, concluding with a long, pure finish. This is a lovely Chambertin in the making that displays excellent focus and tension for the vintage.
A super-fresh and elegant nose reluctantly reveals notes of airy red berries that are laced with floral, spice, humus and tea hints, all of which is framed in enough wood to notice. The wonderfully sleek, intense and well-detailed medium weight flavors are unusually compact on the chiseled, austere and very serious finale.
