RATINGS

98+ The Wine Advocate

...notes of Morello cherries, crushed blackcurrants and fresh blackberries plus suggestions of rusty nails, Indian spices, unsmoked cigars and cedar...full-bodied palate delivers stylish, impactful black fruit and exotic spice layers...grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on that signature, lingering mineral note.

98+ Jeb Dunnuck

Bouquet of cassis, tobacco, damp earth, spice, and spring flowers. Flawless on the palate, with full-bodied richness and building, ultra-fine tannins...incredible purity of fruit, no hard edges, and is just pure Napa Valley magic.

96James Suckling

This has an intense, spiced nose of stewed blackberries, cloves, licorice, dried thyme, ink and bark...full-bodied... Creamy layers of ripe and stewed black fruit and dried herbs. Crushed walnut and chocolate, too. Excellent depth of flavor throughout.

95Vinous / IWC

Bright and punchy, the 2018 opens with striking aromatic intensity. A rush of inky red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, mint, mocha and sweet spice builds as this mid-weight, racy Cabernet shows off all of its appeal...classy and impeccably balanced from start to finish.
