On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep, aristocratic and seamless, with a great core of fruit, superb structure and a very, very long, powerful and tensile finish.
...full of ripe pear, peach, and fresh lime, accented by chalk, fruit pit, floral perfume, and hints of honey. A long, bittersweet, chalky, faintly peppery finish helps convey the impression of mineral underpinnings equal to this wine’s imposing richness of fruit.
