RATINGS

95Wine Enthusiast

A delicious, flowery, aromatic wine. The flavors float around the firm core of fine tannins, plum skin and fig flavors, combining with acidity and leaving an impression of delicacy, yet also great aging potential.

93The Wine Advocate

A mineral-driven nose, a little stony at first with a touch of wild heather, then developing a touch of orange-blossom and forest floor. The palate is mercurial... a soft but impressively long, earthy finish... elegance and cohesion...

93Wine Spectator

Marked by oak, the aromas show vanilla and spice notes. There's depth and richness to the black cherry fruit, accompanied by a sense of mineral. Firm yet finely grained tannins mark the finish.

92Stephen Tanzer

Sweet, aromatic and penetrating, with lovely acidity giving shape and life to the silky, slowly mounting flavors. In a distinctly feminine style...

18.5Jancis Robinson

Bright red cherry fruit on the nose which is remarkably intense. This exuberant wine leaps out of the glass in a super-fruity way. Extremely full ripe nose with good acidity & a slightly animal hint... Round & glorious, lots of stuffing...

92Burghound.com

...exuberantly expressive and luxurious black fruit nose nuanced by a huge range of spices including anise, clove, cinnamon, tea and hoisin as well. Moderately full, sappy, rich and sweet with ample volume and a palate drenching finish...
