Notes of black raspberries, peppery herbs, mint, and graphite all emerge from this medium to full-bodied Shiraz that stays tight and focused on the palate, yet has good concentration, terrific purity of fruit, and a great finish.
Fresh boysenberry, candied violet and a hint of vanilla on the intensely perfumed nose. Shows very good depth as well as energy to its juicy, spice-laced black and blue fruit flavors, which pick up a smoky nuance as the wine opens up. Silky, even tannins lend shape to a long, smooth finish that leaves blue fruit and floral notes behind.
