Estimate
A blockbuster with the finesse to seduce the most demanding aficionados of top white Burgundy. Voluptuous, supple and intense as can be, this opulent crowd-pleaser delivers plenty of toasted oak, apple, citrus and mineral character.
It has a quite brilliant delineation with flint and granite notes at first, hints of Granny Smith apples, pear and hazelnut emerging later. The palate is extremely well-focused, precise and harmonious. It is not a profound Corton-Charlemagne like the 1996 or the 2005, yet those fleeting glimpses of brioche and hazelnut on the crystalline finish are to die for. Sublime.
