RATINGS

98The Wine Advocate

...explodes with blackcurrant cordial, fruitcake and blueberry preserves scents, plus hints of cast-iron pan, black truffles and tree bark. Full-bodied, concentrated and oh-so velvety, it has an electric line of freshness supporting the many layers of rich, hedonic fruit, finishing very long and earthy.

97Jeb Dunnuck

...classic Dr. Crane power and richness as well as straight-up gorgeous notes of black fruits, chocolate, gravelly earth, and tobacco. Deep, rich, and uber-ripe, it stays balanced, has plenty of tannins, and one heck of a great finish...pure Dr. Crane goodness.

90James Suckling

Aromas of ripe blueberries, blackberries, cooked cherries and sweet spices. Full-bodied with ripe tannins. Rich and unctuous with a sweet-fruited finish.

Beckstoffer Vineyards owns and farms more than 3,600 acres of highly prestigious grape growing vineyards in Napa Valley, Mendocino County and the Red Hills of Lake County. A senior executive with Heublein in the 1960s, Andy Beckstoffer is credited with steering Napa Valley vintners towards improving farming and the quality of the grapes used for wine. Grapes from any Beckstoffer vineyards are considered among the finest available in California.
