...deep, dark fruit with latent spice and such earthy, riparian aromas. It literally smells like a cool riverbank that’s covered with wildflowers. The palate has a bold, rich and fleshy core of sweet, darker cherries, which is all-encompassing, very layered, very concentrated and long. Superb!
Rich and powerful, with a plush texture to the richly spiced plum compote and cherry tart flavors. Dried beef accents show midpalate, leading to a finish filled with savory spice notes.
Here the agreeably fresh nose combines notes of both red and dark currant, plum, floral and exotic tea...precise and graceful middle weight flavors that possess an almost lilting mid-palate mouthfeel that contrasts somewhat with the clean, dusty and firm finale. This is a wine of finesse and refinement yet one that also offers very good finishing punch. Classy juice.
