RATINGS

98James Suckling

...red fruit, plums, crushed stones and spices. Full...and focused... Shows the stony character with polish.

97Jeb Dunnuck

...sweet, Pauillac-like bouquet of blackcurrants and cassis as well as tobacco, cedar pencil, and flowery incense. This carries to a ripe, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with wonderful purity, ripe, velvety tannins, no hard edges, and the vintage's ripe, supple, yet incredibly elegant style front and center...gorgeous...

96Vinous / IWC

Silky tannins and plush contours are all kicked up in this large-scaled, opulent Dr. Crane Cabernet. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, spice, new leather and licorice build into the sumptuous finish.

93-95+ The Wine Advocate

...bold notions of baked black plums, blackcurrant cordial and blackberry compote with hints of clove oil, dark chocolate, cast-iron pan and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, soft and juicy in the mouth, it has loads of mineral nuances coming through on the long finish.
