Very precise, focused aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate with violet and light tar undertones. Floral. Full-bodied, yet so manicured and refined with tannins that are polished and slightly dusty. Vibrant energy in the tannins, instead of just raw power. Some minerality. Very long finish.
Bright floral and spice accents lend energy to the red-toned fruit... Iron, sage, dried leaves, tobacco and red-toned fruit linger.

Medium to full-bodied, the palate is very tightly wound with firm, fine-grained tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and mineral laced.
This is a beauty, with alluringly creamy textured plum sauce, blackberry reduction and cassis flavors sailing through, laced with violet, anise and apple wood accents along the way. There's a tug of earth through the finish, along with a buried cast iron note.
