The typical smoky minerality of Achleiten complicates apricot blossom, mandarin orange and subtle peach on the nose. Pleasantly sweet stone and citrus fruits are nicely framed by lemony acidity in this sharply focused and firmly structured riesling. Finishes complex, long and highly mineral.
A rich style of wine, with a smooth and velvet texture that brings out a creamy character. There is freshness from green apple and peach juice flavors, the acidity a great counterpoint to the ripe fruits.
