Screams cabernet and shows attractive leafy, cassis and mulberry fruits with some mint and florals also in the mix. There's an air of freshness and poise here, smells even-handed and composed, the palate has a core of fine tannin with an exterior of more strident and deeper-set bolder tannins cutting the wine an impressive outline.
Plump and generous, with an exuberant, juicy mix of plum, cassis and wild blackberry flavors. Espresso, cedar and cumin details add a warm, spicy note in the middle, finishing with plenty of density and a dried floral hint.
...glimpses at black berry, black plum and pencil shavings notes with hints of menthol, earth and cloves. Full-bodied, concentrated and packed with black fruits and cedary flavors, it has a firm structure of grainy tannins and loads of freshness, finishing long.
Ripe blackcurrant and floral pastille scents are accompanied by musky earth, tobacco and licorice flourishes. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and cassis flavors that are enlivened by a peppery element. Chewy tannins add shape and grip to a long, smoky finish that repeats the licorice and earth notes.
...plush cherry, vanilla, milk chocolate, mint and other drying green herbs... Powerful yet polished tannins wrap around tart cherry and cedary oak while a silky texture adds a soft likability to things.
Really rather refined and classy on the nose. Polished claret with lovely balance. Lots of acidity and tannin on the end. Chewy for now. Dusty and dry on the end. Lifted and fresh... Tar and cassis liqueur. Sucky-stony quality. Very refreshing. Sinewy.
