RATINGS

96-98The Wine Advocate

...a show-stopping mineral-rich bouquet that offers astounding definition and focus. Terroir, terroir and terroir. The palate is medium-bodied with superb definition and so much freshness it does not know what to do with itself. Beautifully focused, refined and feminine...

95-97Vinous / IWC

A classic RSV bouquet laced with floral notes leads to bright red fruit as this chiseled, intensely perfumed Burgundy shows off its considerable class. Dazzling and intense...utterly captivating from the very first taste.

94Burghound.com

A buoyantly spicy nose displays elegant aromas of red currant, raspberry, sandalwood and soft floral nuances...possesses the most refined mouth feel...with ultra-fine grained tannins ... Notwithstanding the refinement exhibited by the mid-palate, the strikingly long and well-balanced finish seems to flirt with a touch of rusticity.

18Jancis Robinson

Iodine, mineral, smoky nose – really come-hither. Juicy red fruit, smoky spices. Just enough tannic bite to give a snappy but not harsh finish. Excellent.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
