Flamboyant aromas of black raspberry, eucalyptus, licorice, Christmas spices and an exotic hint of peach syrup. Supple and very concentrated; deep and spicy.

An intriguing wine, it reveals a Provencal-like, black cherry and garrigue aroma with scents of the seaweed wrap used in sushi preparations called nori... it is one of the finest efforts from Lodi I have ever tasted.

Zinfandel is a black-skinned grape, but 85% of the wine produced is made into a rosy “White Zinfandel.” Red Zin is far more complex and bold, while still being light-bodied. It grows in popularity as winemakers continue to experiment with new styles and blends.
