RATINGS

92Wine Enthusiast

... This vintage offers squeezed tangerine, fleur de sel, lily, apple blossom, apple fritters and a touch of tropicality on the nose. The palate is more steely in structure, with chalk and concrete minerality followed by grapefruit skin and lime flavors, revealing the slightest hint of balanced butter tones.

90Wine Spectator

A delicate style that relies on subtlety and finesse, capturing the ripe essence of white peach, mandarin orange, pear and citrus flavors. Long and elegant, ending clean and refreshing.

90Vinous / IWC

... Orange blossom, honey, chamomile and wild flowers are all pushed forward...the wine's textural finesse...makes it one of the very best values readers will find anywhere in the world.

90Jeb Dunnuck

...softer, more rounded, sexy style to go with notes of ripe peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle. It has good depth, a forward, textured style...

United States, California, Central Coast

Central Coast AVA is a huge wine producing area that extends from Santa Barbara County in the south to San Francisco in the north. With more than 100,000 vineyard acres, it includes parts of six counties near the Pacific Ocean. Nearly 20 smaller AVAs lie within the Central Coast AVA. Central Coast earned appellation status in 1985. Included in the appellation are parts of the counties of Contra Costa, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz. Nearly every grape varietal grown in California is grown somewhere in the Central Coast AVA, though Chardonnay accounts for nearly 50% of the entire wine grape crop.
