Full-bodied, nicely concentrated, and flawlessly balanced, with ripe tannins, it has a terrific mix of elegance and richness. Give bottles 3-4 years and enjoy over the following 20 years or so. ...gives up bight, expressive cassis, crushed black plums and warm black cherries with touches of garrigue, tobacco, wild thyme and potpourri. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with a good amount of black fruit and savory sparks, finishing earthy.
