RATINGS

93Stephen Tanzer

...Silky, suave and pure, with highly nuanced but understated flavors of cherry pit, flowers, menthol and underbrush. Offers terrific but very subtle mouth coverage and solid underlying structure...

Dazzlingly complex and fine nose that is absolutely regal in its elegance and incredible breadth of spice-box aromas are followed ripe, relatively accessible yet incredibly intense flavors that display marvelous depth and perfect balance..

17.5Jancis Robinson

...Round, but not yet seductive. Still quite jagged though it should get there in the end. For lovers of old-fashioned burgundy.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
