...offers earthy red berry aromas with hints of sloe and fig. The fleshy, ripe palate has an attractive, corpulent entry, moderate acidity and juicy red cherries and strawberry laced with black pepper on the finish... ...a delicious Echézeaux to drink over the next two decades. (January 2020)
Dark, ripe and still with a rocky freshness. Lovely depth of fruit but with a lightness of touch thanks to that slightly dry mineral texture. A light herbal and savoury note. Finely dry, almost chalky texture. Elegant and welcoming at the same time. Firm yet filled out with that elegant dark fruit. Real finesse and harmony. Long in fruit.
