RATINGS

93The Wine Advocate

...offers wonderful cake icing, honeysuckle, poached pear and toasted mineral flavors in its classy and refined character. In addition, this wine has extraordinary depth and richness...

93Wine Spectator

..exploding with beautiful spice, honey and lemon flavors in a firm package that's not too oaky.Full-bodied, the texture is supple and smooth despite all the citrusy acidity. Wonderful oak-infused milky, lactic, matchstick, smoky character

93Stephen Tanzer

Reticent but riper aromas of peach, acacia flower and nut oil;...juicy, sharply defined pineapple and lemon flavors offer wonderful sweetness and considerable power. Finishes with terrific grip and real palate-staining length.

92Burghound.com

...expressive and now fully mature lemon-infused and beautifully elegant nose that merges into intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors buzzing with energy and plenty of back end punch and length...

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet, La Truffiere

La Truffiere is a 7.2-acre acre Premier Cru vineyard in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation of Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. It is up the slope and west of many of the appellation’s Premier Cru vineyards, and in fact wasn’t farmed as a vineyard until the mid-20th century, when the land was cleared of rocks and scrub. The elevation is 300 to 380 meters.

TYPE

White Wine, Chardonnay, 1er (Premier) Cru

This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
