A bit angular, but there is a lot of fat underneath, with apple tart, honey, lemon, spice and vanilla bean character. Cellar and you should be rewarded.

Les Pucelles a 12.3-acre Premier Cru vineyard in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. It is just north of Batard-Montrachet. Clive Coates has written that Les Pucelles is “frequently is a very delicious wine, all silk, flowers and fragrance.”
