94Burghound.com

Delicious and velvety medium-bodied flavors that possess outstanding depth and splendid length. This is still a very concentrated and markedly powerful wine...

93Wine Spectator

Beautifully crafted red offering crushed raspberry and plum character. Full-bodied yet silky and sophisticated, caressing your palate.

93+ Stephen Tanzer

High-pitched aromas of red raspberry, blackberry, violet, mint and pine cone...powerfully fruity... smoky red fruits and minerals emerge to carry through a very long, rising finish.

91Robert M. Parker Jr.

...exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, and a sweet nose of black fruits nicely complemented by toasty, smoky new oak. Medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic...

REGION

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanee, Les Brulees

Les Brulees is an 11.25-acre Premier Cru vineyard in the Vosne-Romanee appellation of Burgundy’s Cote de Nuits. Though it is divided by a road, the vineyard enjoys both a southeastern and northeastern exposure. Clive Coates calls Les Brulees “wine with backbone, richness and depth in a particularly masculine way.”

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, 1er (Premier) Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
