WineBid.comĀ® Launches New Website Features
Napa California: WineBid.com, the premier Internet wine auction, launched new website enhancements on November
1. Site enhancements include:
- Advanced Search: Users can now refine their searches in greater detail using such parameters as appellation, price range, vintage range and rating.
- Favorite Search: After searching for favorite wines based on parameters they choose, users can now save that search and use it in future auctions.
- Recent History: For quick reference, the site will save users' most recent searches and items viewed.
- Similar Items: Wines on auction now include links to other similar and recommended wines offered in the current auction.
- Uncontested Lots: Allows users to find lots without bids, or lot offered at the original, reserve price based on any search criteria.
"Since 1996 WineBid.com has been dedicated to using the advantages of the Internet to
provide a global market for buyers and sellers of fine and rare wine," said Jerry Zech, Chief Executive Officer of WineBid.com. "With
these upgrades our buyers will now find it easier to bid on their favorite
wines and our consignors will have a more targeted approach to selling their
collections," said Zech.
WineBid.com's weekly online wine auctions feature
over 4,000 lots and wine enthusiasts can bid on wines ranging from $20 to $2,000
a bottle. WineBid.com offers first growth Bordeaux, wine futures and
