WineBid.com® Doubles Auction In 2005
Napa California: WineBid.com has announced that it will move
to weekly auctions starting Sunday, January 9, 2005. WineBid.com auctions
will now open and close every Sunday. This will double the number of auctions
held in previous years.
"Our new weekly auction schedule means more
fine wine more often for our customers," said Jerry Zech, WineBid.com CEO. "As
we continue to attract new bidders we have experienced an increased demand for
rare and unusual wines. So our new weekly schedule is a win-win situation for
both our consignors, who now have double the opportunity to sell their wines,
and our bidders, who’ll have more choice."
Here is what our new, weekly auction schedule means for our customers:
- Customers will find new wines on auction every week.
- Each week we will offer new Spotlighted collections
- Twice as many auctions means twice the opportunity to acquire your favorite wines
- The auction calendar will be simple and easy to remember
WineBid.com’s weekly online wine auctions feature more than 4,000 lots and wine enthusiasts can
bid on wines ranging from $20 to $2,000 a bottle. WineBid.com offers first growth
