An attractive, fruit-forward wine, Turley’s 2011 Zinfandel Duarte is soft, caressing and very nicely balanced. This juicy, vibrant Zinfandel has more than enough depth to drink nicely for a number of years. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018.
Ripe and briary, with raspberry and grilled herb aromas, delivering lively cherry, smoky sage and cracked pepper flavors. The tannins sneak in on the finish. Drink now through 2021. 900 cases made. –TF
