...one of the finest Barolos of its vintage...great structure, velvet-smooth tannins and a warm, lingering finish made with a master's touch.
Lovely ripe aromas of blackberry, meat and cherry, with hints of cedar. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a chocolate and berry aftertaste. A succulent wine.
Deep, highly aromatic nose combines crystallized cherry, roasted meat, violet, cinnamon, tobacco, eucalyptus and underbrush. Juicy but still rather tight, even tart-edged, with a restrained sweetness.
